How do I upload the newest versions of Vantage Point and rPhone?

If you experience ongoing or anomalous problems with Vantage Point or rPhone (e.g., the VP iconis not visible, the Phone Console is unavailable, the VP icon is inactive,  VP Assistant Panelmenu or functions are not available, etc.), an update may be required.  Here's how to upload the newest version of Vantage Point and rPhone.

Add New Share

Click Pods, choose Share and then select Add New Share.

From the Share pod, click the Share My Screen drop down menu and select Share Document.

Open the Refined Data Tools folder from Shared Content

  1. Select Shared Content.
  2. Locate the shared content folder that contains your Refined Data pods. This depends upon the Abobe Connect Central share folder to which these pods were initially downloaded.  
  3. Click OK. The OK button will become active after you select the content from within the folder.

Add the SWF file

Find the SWF file name that contains the string"rPhone" and click OK.  The precise name of the SWF file will vary, but but it will always contain"rPhone." After selecting OK, the Share Pod will automatically disappear.

Upload the newest version of Vantage Point

Repeat these steps to upload the newest version of Vantage Point. Only the final step differs. Find the SWF file name that contains the string "Vantage Point" or "VantagePoint" and click OK.  The precise name of the SWF file will vary, but it will always contain one of the above strings.
