Resources and Troubleshooting with Adobe Connect 11
The following posts from the Adobe Connect community will support you with your Adobe Connect configuration:

Enabling custom pods in the HTML environment:

RDS Custom Pods: Hands Up and rPhone are available in an HTML5 version which will work in Adobe Connect’s Classic and Standard environments, with the host in Classic View. We have provided the following reccommendations on how to configure your Adobe Connect meetings for optimal performance of our RDS pods.

Make sure you have custom pods enabled in the HTML environment by going to:
Administration | Compliance and Control | HTML Client Settings | Enable Custom Pod in HTML Client

Classic vs Standard view:

The option to enable “HTML Client Enabled” for your meeting rooms in the previous version of Adobe Connect allowed participants the option to choose between downloading/installing the Adobe Connect APP to access meetings or opening them in the browser.

With the new Adobe Connect 11, the options have changed to select Standard or Classic view with the Adobe Connect application and the option to enable Standard and/or Classic view for the browser:

Talking Stick and Cachet:

The classic view continues to support the flash environment. If you are using Talking Stick, Cachet or Vantage Point you want to ensure that Classic view is the only option selected for both the application and browser interface. Talking Stick and Cachet will not be updated and will continue to work for as long as the Classic view is available in Adobe Connect.

Vantage Point

Until the HTML Version is released, in late Q4 2020, all users in your meetings must operate in the “Classic” view in both the desktop app and browser. It is important to disable the “Standard View” for both as users who join in this mode will not be able to run Vantage Point.

Hands Up and rPhone:

Hands Up and rPhone require that the at least one host is in Classic View, including the individual managing the participant interactions (such as clearing responses or updating settings) Other hosts, presenters and participants can be in either Standard or Classic view. The best practice is to have all hosts using the Classic View in the Desktop application, configured like this:
