This post reflects that the latest desktop app is only 64 bit and participants on older Windows 32 bit versions (especially true for companies on locked down legacy systems still running Internet Explorer) may not be able to enter meetings if they upgrade to the latest desktop app. These users should downgrade to the prior version if the desktop app which will continue to work.If you are experiencing issues with the new version of Adobe Connect, given it is a major upgrade, you can consider the option to force the Classic View for your account:

RDS Custom Pods: Hands Up and rPhone are available in an HTML5 version which will work in Adobe Connect’s Classic and Standard environments, with the host in Classic View.
